About the main body of the skeleton house

The skeleton house is delivered as a finished product. The main body is carefully crafted one by one by craftsmen using the traditional Japanese technique of "mortise and tenon", which is a technique for assembling without using nails. The wood used is hardwood grown in the mountains of Japan, which is manufactured in Hida Takayama through a well-controlled drying process. We are particular about manufacturing in Japan and ask Oak Village, which has a large workshop in Hida Takayama.

We use wood that has a color change called "Fushi". Since solid wood is used without coloring, each house has a different color and pattern. Please understand this as the individuality of wood before purchasing.

About the floor of the skeleton house

For the floor inside the house, two pillars of the same wood as the house material are passed through, and plywood that has been punched to make holes and has good ventilation is placed as the floor to regurgitate or roughen the floor. It is possible to remove it for easy cleaning and maintenance. When the floor gets wet, remove the floorboard, squeeze it well, wipe it off, and dry it in the shade separately from the main body and floor material.

Product condition
The skeleton house will be delivered as a finished product. There is no need for the customer to assemble.
Therefore, the cardboard used for delivery is a large package with a total of 140 cm on all three sides. Product compensation
The skeleton house itself will be covered for one year. This product is designed for indoor use by pets. If it is damaged due to unexpected use, such as when it is used outdoors, when a heavy object is placed on it, or when it is moved by holding a pillar on the roof with a dog on it, it will not be repaired. Anything that the dog bites or damages the surface of the tree will not be covered.

Repair
If it has been used for a long time and needs to be repaired, it will be charged, but it can be used for a long time by repairing it. Please contact the shop.

Water and oil are strictly prohibited on solid wood, so if it gets wet, wipe it off quickly with a dry rag. For daily maintenance, basically wipe with a rag, and wipe off until the dirt does not stick to the rag. If the floor gets wet, remove it, wipe it off with a tightly wrung cloth, and dry it in the shade.

Depending on the country and environment in which you use the tree, the tree may expand or contract depending on the humidity and dry conditions. We calculate such things and assemble by slightly shifting the columns and beams. In the photo above, you can see the part where the wooden frame is offset by about 1 mm, but this was designed with expansion and contraction in mind.
